I seriously love being a mom. I must admit that it was harder at first than I thought it would be. Of course I envisioned it being rainbows and lollipops, but I was wrong. Really wrong. It's more like spit and diapers. But my love for this little guy grows more and more everyday and I just want to hug and kiss him all the time. Okay, maybe not at 4:30 in the morning when all I want to do is sleep. But I still love him like crazy. We are figuring out how to manage our lives AND have a kiddo, and honestly, it hasn't been too hard. My biggest concern is bedtime, mainly because of my love for sleep. Other than that, I feel pretty confident in being a parent.
The paperwork for the house is *almost* complete. Ugh, not fun! I can't wait till this whole house thing is over with.
And my favorite thing to talk about, besides Paul of course...the shower! Finishing touches are being made to the party supplies and things will be shipped out this week. Pauly is going to stay with a foster family that we took our classes with, so mommy can travel worry-free and focus on throwing Auntie Betsy the best baby shower ever. I can't wait to help Betsy organize for Baby Spikes :)
