Great Grandma Cora went to be with Jesus this morning. I am thankful that I got to see her in November and say our "goodbyes" then. I wish I could have seen her just once more, but I am at peace knowing that she is in Heaven, pain free and happy! Just last night, Betsy & I had a conversation about how we were okay with her passing. We knew she was uncomfortable and wanting to leave this earth. She wanted to be with Jesus. I swear she knew. I know she was waiting for her loved ones to feel peace about the situation. She was always so caring. Man I'm going to miss her!
This is hard for me not only because I loved her so much, but because she is the first close family member I've lost since moving away from home. One regret that I'll never have is making time to visit with her every time I visited Michigan.

I am so sorry for your loss Becky! How incredible that you had a great grandma! You are blessed...praying for you during this time...it is hard to be far from family when heartache happens.
