Praise Jesus for modern technology! We were able to Skype with my sister (twice!) and my grandma this past weekend. It was so nice for grandma to "meet" our little foster buddy and it's always nice to talk to Hailey.
This weekend was also a success for my garage...I finished the front porch chairs and now the garage has more space! And the front porch looks fantastic! Only took me, well, let's not talk about how long it took me to finish that project. I can't wait to sit on my front porch with a glass of tea and enjoy the weather...the cooler weather that is.
Hopefully the weather will be getting cooler this month so we can start taking walks again. This 105+ crap is getting old. Can't even ride in the car without having a sweaty back. We are supposed to be experiencing a much cooler October this year. How the heck does anyone predict that? We've had the hottest August in the history of weather yet they can predict a cool October? Well, for our sanity, I hope they are right!
