A Day In The Life Of The Numy's

What a great birthday! I had a great day!

I had a rule among my friends at work that it was a "positive day", so no one was allowed to be negative on my birthday. No one could talk about work...which is hilarious if you think about it, I mean, we were at work! And no one was allowed to ask me questions or make me talk about the baby. And it pretty much worked! Stefanni & Tami threw Janelle and I a surprise lunch at noon and they decorated and got us Pei Wei! I left the office at 2 to get my birthday massage and IT.WAS.GLORIOUS. Janay did an amazing job! I picked up the little guy and headed home and enjoyed a nice quiet night with my boys.

Birthdays are less and less fun as people get older and I understand why...getting old is funky. I found a gray hair on Monday! WHAT?! That's no fun. Doesn't my hair understand that I cannot afford to color it these days? I guess not. And wrinkles start appearing. What's up with that?! I am now considering botox...and I'm not even 30!

But birthdays these days aren't so bad because I share my special day with a great friend. We like to consider ourselves "twinzies" :) There is no one I'd rather celebrate with than her.

I am hoping 28 is good to me and that good things are in store for us this year :)
