{Let Them Be Little}

There is a country song titled "Let Them Be Little" and it makes me cry every time I hear it. The message of the song is so important - let our little kids be little! Because before you know it, they are too cool to hang out with us old folks. 

I thought I would share what Isaac has been up to! 

AGE: 2 years, 4 months

FAVORITE THING TO DO: eat! jump off the couch, torment the dog, swing (wing as he says), play with playdoh and buckle himself in the carseat 

FAVORITE COLOR: green, or geen as he says 

NUMBER: 2. He holds up both his little index fingers and says "ah two!" melts my heart every time! And everything has to do with the number two. We can't give Riley ONE dog treat - he'll say "Ridey treat? ah two?!" 

FAVORITE FOOD: all food. Seriously this kid eats more than me! He asks for chicken quite a bit, but when I give him chicken, he doesn't always like it. When he doesn't like something, he'll say "no like it" in a sad voice. Once again, melts my heart. 

Isaac loves to pray for people! He is such a sweetheart of a boy :) He wants to pray for his brothers and nana & tata almost everyday, but sometimes he'll throw in a few kids from school or his teachers. And if he knows someone is ill, he'll ask to pray for them. He also loves to talk about his Opa. Opa went to be with Jesus last month and Isaac knows that he lives in Heaven now, but will 'call him' on his phone now and then. 

There are days when the little bugger drives me completely bonkers, and other days he is so much fun! I don't know what triggers his crazy behaviors and what makes him so sweet, but either way, I love that kid more than words can express.
